Phil Robison is the owner of the Montana Somatic Center, a Helena-based bodywork center. Phil specializes in CranioSacral Therapy, Quantum-Touch®, Reiki, and various other forms of energetic bodywork. He believes that healing is a natural function of the body and everybody is his/her own best healer. Still, all of us need help at times. Phil can become a catalyst for change and tailor a session to give the client just what he/she needs. CranioSacral Therapy is a style of light touch bodywork that profoundly relaxes the body. It focuses on gently stretching the soft connective tissues in the body. Relaxing these tissues not only feels wonderful, but can also allow for increased flexibility at key points such as the sutural joints of the skull bones, the base of the spine, and other areas of chronic tension. The result is often dramatic enhancement of body functioning and the alleviation of pain. Quantum-Touch® is a form of energy work in which the practitioner focuses and amplifies life-force energy, which is most often referred to as “Chi” or “Prana”. This allows the client’s body to do whatever healing it deems necessary. The result is often an acceleration of the healing process, rapid reduction of pain and inflammation, and a feeling of deep relaxation.
